appreciate your sharing the vid… looking forward to it, but the download is very slow (8k currently) with no change in speed for hours. hopefully this means your work is being voraciously consumed by many any chance for a rapidshare post of this? i’d be willing, btw, to put it up there when the download finishes, if you wish.

I didn’t donate as I never got round to it BUT I would definately consider paying for coaching/training services after watching the DVD – is it anything you have considered?

An awsome movie that definitely should get some material feedback! And as Richard already said: “It really is a stretch to imagine people will take something for free then later, and without reminder, pay for it.” I absolutely agree with that, so how about setting up a reminder? I think the folks at 8a will have no problem about posting a follow up article with a tiny link…

I donated as much for this blog and it’s continual interest as for the Font video. The video looks good and the views and thoughts you keep posting on here almost always make good reading, so credit where it is due.

I do think it is hypocritical that YOU don’t pay for climbing DVDs though. I doubt many producers are becoming millionares from selling niche market DVDs at £20 a time… “Credit where it’s due” applies to them too.

I think I downloaded it with good intentions, fully expecting myself to fork out a few quid. Unfortunately ‘getting round to it’ never happened. I imagine a lot of others feel the same. Seeing the little paypal symbol puts me off also. I have watched your film A LOT. More than I watched the last 3 dvd’s I bought. Dont give up on freeconomics, its not the cocnept but perhaps the execution that was at fault. It really is a stretch to imagine people will take something for free then later, and without reminder, pay for it.

I commend you on the whole process. If I wasn’t sat here with literally no food in my cupboard and no money to put any in there, I would be donating. I am of course going to donate on payday as I hope you read a blog entry I wrote a while ago on the elite athlete (within climbing). It was in reference to yourself and some others.

I’ve downloaded the film but have only watched a few minutes so far for lack of time. Maybe many others are in the same boat, so it might be a little premature to call the final numbers on donations. Could you perhaps post a list of the songs in the movie? From what I’ve watched, I’m really enjoying the music and would like to hear more of it. Thanks for an amazing (so far) “experiment”!
